We are seeking a Certified CNA Instructor for the Houston area to instruct and train CNAs.
BASIC FUNCTION:
This position requires a responsible, qualified LVN, capable of assessing, planning, implementing, instructing, and evaluating educational programs in the field of nursing. Responsibilities for this position include classroom teaching of theory and supervision of trainees during clinical training. The CNA instructor must be positive, responsive, and a motivational role model for trainees.
Facility and classroom supplies will be provided by employer. Must be Licensed & Certified and must meet all requirements for state regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
¶ Must be Certified and meet all TX state requirements.
¶ Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing recognized by the State of Texas.
¶ Must possess a valid and current LVN license.
¶ Must be computer-literate with competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and web applications.
¶ Must be strongly detail-oriented and organized.
¶ Must be very reliable and trustworthy in handling confidential information.
¶ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of dead weight as well as satisfactorily work with patients who need complete mobility assistance.
¶ Must have a valid TX Drivers License and have own transportation.
